Dance Marathon is a nationwide collegiate philanthropy that raises money for the Children's Miracle Network. Through the Children's Miracle Network, Dance Marathon at the University of Missouri-Columbia is able to donate its proceeds to the Children's Hospital of Columbia, Mo.

Get ready for a Party with a Purpose! DM 2007 is a 12-hour event at The Blue Note on Nov. 2 at 4 p.m. You don't even need to know how to dance -- the night will include:

  • DJ and live music, featuring Hat Trick and Brice Tomlinson
  • Blue Note drink specials
  • Casino games (gamble with raffle tickets)
  • Raffle prizes, like an iPod and Trops coupons
  • Singled Out dating game show (see blog for details)
  • Recess games tournaments, like four square and rock, paper, scissors
  • LOTS of free food

Last year, DM raised more than $30,000 and this year we have the potential to raise even more - all for the kids of the Columbia Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network. Anyone can participate; just download and fill out this form (PDF) and bring it to the event. Or just show up at the Blue Note on Nov. 2 with $15.
